About
Since 2001. Twenty years in mission-critical software.
iLocking Kft. is a Hungarian engineering company, founded in 2001. For the last twenty years its work has been software — almost all of it in the places where a wrong number costs real money: banking cores, securities settlement, energy markets, regulated digital assets. Fifteen of those years include cryptographic engineering, up to and including protocols of our own design.
The path runs through the industry's serious rooms: core banking platforms designed from a blank page for one of the region's largest banking groups; securities back-office systems that have been in production for two decades; settlement design for a national power exchange; optimization pipelines for the national grid operator; model risk tooling inside a global investment bank; and, in recent years, the design and build of a digital asset platform that earned its country's first MiCA licence.
What we believe
- Accounting is the truth layer.Every system we build stands on analytical accounting done properly. If the bookings are right, everything else can be fixed; if they are wrong, nothing else matters.
- Specifications are engineering.A precise document is not bureaucracy — it is the cheapest place to find a mistake. We write specifications that developers can build from and auditors can read.
- New technology earns its place. We work with threshold cryptography, zero-knowledge-style constructions and quantum-safe algorithms where they solve a real problem — under MiCA, DORA and the discipline of a regulated balance sheet. We publish some of that work openly: the NPVDKGRS key-generation scheme, the Pactena Protocol, and Qashmore, the digital cash solution built on it.
- Small by design.iLocking is deliberately senior. You talk to the people who do the work.
